In 2019, Get Schooled underwent a major website overhaul. I supported the rebranding and redesign of the Get Schooled website and developed new brand guidelines for the website, print materials, email communications, and social.
The website felt dark (despite the bright colors), cluttered, and dated (think Windows 8).
We opted for a white base to lighten and modernize the feel of the brand. Colors and accents were turned into gradients, with a few of them containing the original colors of the site. We also wanted to pay homage to the older iterations of Get Schooled and use the shapes as the focal point of the design rather than photos which contributed to the previously cluttered look of the site.
